The electoral process, which concluded after days of intense campaigning and student engagement, saw Ndebwoha secure a commanding victory after polling 2,980 votes out of the 5,866 total votes cast. The results gave him 50.8 percent of the overall vote, officially placing him ahead of all contenders in the race for the university’s top student leadership office.
The victory marks a significant milestone in Victoria University’s democratic student governance structure, with the institution once again demonstrating a strong culture of student participation and leadership transition through constitutional electoral processes.

Ndebwoha campaigned under what he consistently described as the “VIBE Agenda,” a manifesto platform that reportedly focused on student inclusion, leadership transformation, innovation, campus engagement, and strengthening the relationship between the student body and university administration.
Throughout the campaign period, the Guild President-elect positioned himself as a candidate focused on student-centered leadership, promising to address key student concerns while enhancing academic welfare, talent development, innovation opportunities, and representation of student voices in institutional decision-making.
The election itself drew significant attention within the university community, with students actively participating in debates, mobilization campaigns, and voting activities. The turnout of 5,866 votes reflected one of the most active student participatory exercises in the institution’s recent leadership history, underlining the importance students attach to guild governance and representation.

University electoral officials confirmed that the voting exercise was conducted successfully before the final tally declared Mugarura Isaiah Ndebwoha winner. His 50.8 percent performance demonstrated a clear majority mandate from the student population, solidifying confidence in his incoming administration.
The inauguration of the new Guild President also signals the beginning of a new chapter in student leadership at Victoria University, an institution that has increasingly positioned itself as one of Uganda’s fast-growing private universities with emphasis on innovation, technology integration, leadership development, and student empowerment.

Ndebwoha now assumes office as the 9th Guild President with expectations from students centered around accountability, delivery on campaign promises, and implementation of the VIBE Agenda that formed the foundation of his campaign trail.
His administration is expected to play a central role in student advocacy, engagement with university management, organization of guild activities, and representation of student interests both within and outside the university.
The development has already generated excitement among sections of the student community, with supporters describing the outcome as a reflection of confidence in youthful leadership, progressive ideas, and transformative governance at the university.
As he officially takes over office, attention now shifts toward the composition of his leadership team, implementation strategy, and how his administration intends to translate campaign promises into measurable impact for students at Victoria University.
